My official start to summer!

My last final was on May 14th and I celebrated the next day by lying out in the sun and listening to a book on CD while Bridget was at school. The pool wasn't open yet but I wasn't going to let that ruin my plans so I grabbed a towel and headed outside to lie in the thick grass. My weirdo neighbor was out back invading my oasis. (He has a habit of wearing daisy dukes as he crawls around in the grass talking to his five cats.) I didn't feel like listening to what kind of diet he has his cats on so I settled in front on the building next to ours. I spritzed on some sun tan oil and fell asleep to the sound of my book enjoying the cool breeze and feeling the humidity float off of the grass. I woke up to find myself covered in all kinds of bugs that had drowned in my sweat. But it didn't matter. It was a perfectly relaxing start to the summer, something I needed after a tough semester.
