That's right, April Fool's Day is Brent's birthday!
I love this day for many reasons.
1.) This is the day my jokster of a husband came into this world.
2.) This means mustache madness is over and I don't have to look at my husband's creepy mustache anymore.
This year was a milestone for good ol' Brent. He turned 30! He spent the majority of the day driving through the mountains trying to get home from his camping trip. I knew he would be tired and dirty when he got back so I decided to leave him a little note in the bathroom.
Who needs Hallmark when you have a big mirror and lots of dry erase markers?
While they were driving back I made him a chocolate cake. His mom usually makes him a german chocolate cake from scratch but I didn't have enough time so he got a cake from a box. I tried to make it look pretty but it kind of crumbled when I put the icing on it. So, basically it was a tasty blob of chocolaty goodness. Brent wasn't really impressed with the trick candles but Bridget thought they were hilarious!
