Day 88

The First Farmer's Market of the Summer!
Talk about cherry picking!
Bridget and I had so much fun at the farmer's market! We bought cherries, plums, asparagus, broccoli and fresh homemade tortillas. We've decided to try out the farmer's markets all over the area and check out the small towns around us. It'll be fun. Luckily Brent will be off work next time and he can go with us.

Day 87

Summer has officially begun!
This is the first summer in a long time that I have gotten to spend with Bridget and I am so excited! Bridget wants to go swimming everyday and so for the remainder of the summer my photo blog with probably consist of a million pictures of Bridget in her bathing suit. Can't wait! The sun just makes me happy!

Day 86

The Graduate!
Now she just has to wait 12 more years before she graduates again. The Principle mentioned that this was the class of 2020. It's just so weird to think about. I've never taken the time to figure out what year she would graduate. However, being as self-centered as I am, I did calculate exactly how old I would be when she graduated highschool. I'll be 39 on the verge of 40. That's still young! I'm hoping that everyone will think I'm just her sister. I'm crossing my fingers on that one! Bridget will be a young graduate because she's one of the youngest in her class. She'll be 17 and she won't turn 18 until right before she goes into college. Oh, what does the future hold?

Day 85

Perfect
While Bridget was at school I decided to go to the pool and layout. Unfortunately, the pool was closed so I decided to plant myself on a hill outside of our apartment. The hill was so steep it felt like I was nearly sitting up and I kept getting a wedgie as I slid down the towel but it was perfect. The grass was so thick it felt like I was lying on a bed and the breeze was just cool enough to sooth me when it started to get too hot. This was the best two hours of my day I wanted to stay there forever.

Day 84

Field Day!

and the winner is.....EVERYONE!

Day 83

Swimming outside!

Day 82

6th Grade Buddy
Today Bridget had a field trip to the zoo. I decided to chaperone on this trip and was assigned Bridget and her buddy and another kindergartener and their buddy. All through out the year the 6th grade buddies would come into Miss Bane's classroom and do projects with their little buddies. Bridget's buddy has been so sweet to her through out the year. We just love her. I was very flattered when the 6th graders saw that I was assigned to them and they said "Yay, we get the pretty parent." They scored points with me right off the bat. They walked around with each other and were to complete an assignment. Unfortunately, Bridget dropped her homework in the Kangaroo habitat. We had to call security to make sure they kangaroos wouldn't eat it. It was kind of funny.

Day 81

Indoor Swimming
Grabbing some almonds and grapes before heading back into the great depths of indoor swimming.

Day 80

School Carnival!

Bridget getting an airbrushed tattoo.

Best Buddies.

Having a blast on the bouncy thing.

Day 79

Mother's Day
Bridget and I had a great mother's day, even though Brent had to work. We went to the library and played at the park. Then we went to the Rec Center and played at the indoor water park. After all of that excitement we were hungry so we went to Gunther Toodies for dinner. This is a picture of her looking through the dessert menu.

Day 78

Crazy Hairday
Just lounging on the couch before going to school with her crazy hair.

Day 77

80's Night for Kick Ball.

Tonight was the first time that I've had to play while Brent was at work. He was missed and I'm sure he's sad that he missed 80's night. The other team didn't dress up and they got really mad at us tonight because we're a bunch of retards. It's funny watching people get over competative over sports that are supposed to be silly.

Day 76

CuteLast night Bridget spent the night at her friend's house. So Brent and I decided to go on a play date of our own. We had so much fun but unfortunately my camera was dead so I didn't get any pictures. We went to happy hour at Old Chicago's then went bowling with some of our friends. Next date will be a more grown up one.

Day 75

Spring?
It's the first day of May. Is there something wrong with this picture?

Day 74

Flower Soup.

Day 73

Is there a laundry fairy?
Well there is one now. This is Bridget looking for the spare change the laundry fairy left for her in the washer.

Day 72

I like flowers.
These are on the window sill in Bridget's room, she remembers to water them when they start to shrivel up. Then I'll hear her in her room screaming, "Oh no! They're dead!", It happens about once every three days.
