The cuddle shot.

This is Carrie and I sharing a seatbelt in the blue van Brent's parents just bought. Everytime we get together with Bryce and Carrie there is always one shot of Carrie and I cuddling. One time we all went hiking and we decided to take a family photo. When we looked back at it, it looked like Carrie and I were at the prom together. We had our arms wrapped around each other just so. It was hilarious. So from now on we always make sure to get the cuddle shot.

This is the first book that I ever read in one day.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Bridget is all about celebrating anything and everything. She's had her outfit for St. Patty's day picked out for weeks. I got some really cute pictures of her and some of her friends at school that also dressed up for St. Patty's day. I decided not to post them though because I'm not sure how their parents would feel about having their faces all over the internet.

First egg hunt.

Bridget had her first sleepover with a friend the night before this picture. I was beside myself while she was gone. I didn't know what to do with myself. Brent and I ended up going on a date but we both missed her a lot! The next morning I met them at the highschool across the street where they were holding a Spring Festival. When we got home Bridget told me how much fun she had and how she wished I was her Aunt so that she could belong to Addies family.

Day 53

The snow in the mountains.

Brent took a picture of the snow creeping up the windows in their administration building at work. Sometimes he asks me why I don't want to live in Breck and this is my answer.

Day 52

Sorry I've been gone for so long. I had a ton of school work to do before we went out of town.Here is Bridget giving one of the guys a little extra boost.

On the 14th we went bowling with a bunch of guys from Brent's work. Bridget was the only kid there but she didn't mind because everyone let her boss them around when it came to bowling technique.

Day 51

Dubinki

Brent and his friends went to Dubinki which is located near Moab, Utah. They went dirt bike riding and drank lots of alcohol. This was a way to baste in their own testosterone in order to kick off "March Mustache Madness" at the fire department. I'll update you on how the stache is going.

Day 50

Walking to school.

Bridget loves walking to school. She really likes it when her daddy comes because they end up having snowball fights. Afterschool we usually walk to the park and play for while.

Day 49

Homemade Tortillas

I was a little homesick and was really craving a Sevi's burrito. My favorite is the one with shredded beef, beans, potato and cheese. So I roasted some beef, cooked some beans and decided to try to make my own Sevi's burrito. Sevi's is always made with homemade tortillas, so I decided to give it a shot. They tasted yummy but they were really crumbly. It wasn't quite Sevi's material, but at least I gave it a shot.

Day 48

Old Movies.

A Streetcar Named Desire.

I had to watch this for my theater class, so I settled in bed with a bowl full of popcorn and enjoyed. Although I'm not really sure what the heck was wrong with Blanch. I'm guessing she was a little nutty.

Day 47

I got to pick out the beer. We'll call it girly stout.

A ghost in my beer.
With Brent finally home I can enjoy my ghost hunters show!!! I love it! I got so creeped while watching this show. During a commercial break I went to get a beer and it looked like I had ghost inside.

Day 46

Eating together as a family.

Brent's finally home! He's been gone for nearly 5 days and we all finally got to sit down to a dinner together.

Water.

I bought fun straws to try to get Bridget to drink more water. The Colorado climate has us all dried out like prunes.

Day 44

Easter Shoes.

They can sure make a girl feel special! We bought her Easter dress and shoes and she was so excited. I wasn't going to let her wear her shoes until Easter. I don't know why, what was the harm of her wearing her shoes today? So what if they got dirty? They're shoes! I'll bet she had more fun wearing those shoes around the house than she will on Easter. She was on cloud nine. When it was time to take a bath she took her shoes off last. Only after she ran around naked with her little white shoes on.

Day 43

My Garden Patch

I've been craving fruits and veggies latley with grilled meat. I think it's a sign that I'm ready for summer. I can't wait to shop at the local farmers markets and wear flips flops with sundresses....sum sum summa time!

Day 42

I wrote my first play.

What does that have to do with this picture? Nothing. I just like to brag about being on a billboard. Brent went camping and took the camara that has working batteries.
