Day 70

First time to have a friend call.
I got a phone call from an unfamiliar number and when I answered it all I heard on the other line was "hi", "hi" I said back and the little voice said "hi" again. That's when I knew it must be one of Bridget's little friends. Bridget was so excited that her little friends Katie had called her she just walked around talking about birthdays and playdates. It was so cute, but weird at the same time. I'm just glad it wasn't a little boy. I don't hink I'll be able to handle that at least not for another 10 years.

Day 69

Garden Tea Party!
The girls had so much fun! They had cheese crackers and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches cut out in the shape of flowers. For little party favors we found cute little felt watering cans at the dollar spot at Target and filled them with gummy worms. After lunch they painted little flower pots and planted little pink flowers. Once they had freshened up with a little bit of my makeup (supervised) they sat down with the garden fairies and had hot chocolate with sprinkles (it was snowing) and strawberry cupcakes. They had a blast! Afterwards I was tired.
This is them all gussied up and ready for the tea party.

Day 68

Taking a test in my jammies
Have I mentioned that I HATE stats? Well, I do. Especially when I have to sit down for a grueling three hours first thing in the morning for a test. Did you notice the coffee? I had probably four cups during this process. It must have helped because I ended up making an 85, not including the extra points I usually get for little rounding issues. Yay me!

Day 67

Brownies with Sprinkles
Bridget has had quit a social calendar recently. The girls didn't have school on Friday so we invited her friend Katie over for a play date.

Day 66

The Sun.
Bridget was on a play date today and so I had an entire day to myself. It was weird. I had spent the morning running around a lake and as I was running I kept glancing at the people lounging in the park. So after i went home and cleaned up I decided to go back with a blanket just so that I could soak up the sun. Turns out I wasn't the only one.

Day 65

Picnic in the Park!
Swinging...

Playing soccer...

Flying kites...
What more could you ask for on a beautiful day? Bridget and I decided to invite all of her class mates to join us at the park for a little picnic before school. They all had such a blast. After they all walked to school together. It was like a little kindergarten parade. So cute!
