Day 13

My Mom
I've been thinking about her a lot lately. Since I've started my creative writing classes I decided to read some of my mom's work from when she was in school. We have a lot more in common than I thought. I'm jealous because she looks absolutely beautiful in the picture and she looks exactly like my sister. When we were little I thought I was the one who was a mini version of my mom because I had the blonde hair. But in reality my sister is a spitting image of her.

Random Little Story

Bridget was playing with her Barbies the other day and Brent could hear her screaming "OOOOUUUUUCH!!! AHHHHHHHH!!! OOOOOOOOHHHH! He went in there and asked her, "Bridget, what are your Barbies doing?" He looked around and saw all of her Barbies bent in painful positions all strewn about her room.
She just looked at him and said, "Yoga."

Day 12

Watch out for the popo!
The mug shot.
Brent and I were awoken today with a knock at the door at precisely 5 o'clock this morning. The sherrif's department was looking for me! They said that I had been involved in a high speed pursuit. I didn't know anything about this. I kept thinking, "Well, why didn't you just turn on your lights?" It turns out that somebody had stolen our license plate yesterday while we were down at the Springs for a party, then decided to go for a little joy ride.

Day 11

Lunch Date!
Lunch time is the only time Brent and I have the opportunity to go on dates.

Day 10

The reason I'm late with my post...
Brent and I had a romantic evening drinking wine, talking, reminiscing and watching Celeb Rehab. It feels so good to watch people who are so much more screwed up than you are. After a couple of glasses of wine it's down right hilarious. That is until the next morning, then it's not so funny.

Day 9

Cooking in the kitchen
This wasn't actually today. It was a few days ago but I liked it so I decided to post it.

Day 8

The Denver Zoo!
Bridget is in her animal loving phase. She's decided that she wants to be a "vegenarian" when she grows up. Not too long ago she suddenly burst into tears crying, "Mom, I want to be a vegenarian, but I still want to eat meat!" It took me a while to calm her down so that I could explain the difference between a vegetarian and a veterinarian. After she understood it was all good.
